Nick DiBerardino, Composer

Nick DiBerardino is a composer who talks with his hands. His music embodies a deep enthusiasm for the fantastic stories of everyday life and an endless fascination with science, literature, art, history, and the people around him. Nick's language is wide-ranging and story-driven, conveying "richly textured, multilayered" sound worlds (Minnesota Star Tribune) with a visceral, gestural immediacy. All Nick's energies as a composer, educator, teaching artist, and public speaker flow from his belief that music can bring people in to unified communities.
